Clinical Research Unit- Orme Facility, 8911 E. Orme, Wichita, KS  67207
CRI has two 16-bed clinical research units (CRU) located at its Orme facility.  The units offer sponsors a flexible inpatient environment where we can house up to 32 participants, complete with 24 hour staffing and security. Each unit is staffed by trained research nurses and clinical research assistants.  The units are designed for first-time-in-man studies, pharmacokinetic studies, drug - drug interaction studies, and bridging studies in mildly symptomatic volunteers.  The two units can be segregated from each other to allow for the conduction of multiple concurrent studies, or they can be combined to allow for the conduct of large-scale studies.

 
Outpatient Clinical Research Clinic—Hillside Facility, 201 S. Hillside, Wichita, KS  67211
CRI’s dedicated outpatient clinical research clinic is located at its Hillside facility.  This clinic is designed specifically for the conduct of outpatient clinical research studies. 

CRI’s research unit and clinic are equipped with the following:

 

• -20°C and -70°C Freezers
• Refrigerated Centrifuges
• 12-lead EKG Machines
• Laboratory Processing Rooms
• Telemetry
• Secure Binder Storage Room
• Dedicated High-Speed Data Transmission Lines
• Physical Examination Rooms
• Interview and Testing Rooms
• Coordinator and Physician Offices
• Dedicated Study Monitor Rooms with Internet Access
• Secured and Temperature-monitored Drug Storage Rooms

 

In addition to the outpatient clinic, CRI’s administration is located at its Hillside facility.
